LP
Nut Installation Instructions
Remove
your air source from the gun, and release all the air from
inside the gun. This can be done by re-cocking the gun and
pulling the trigger.
1. Disconnect the air hose at the front of your old
Low Pressure Regulator (LPR)
2. Unscrew the old LPR from the gun.
3. Remove the oring from your old LPR, and put it
on the LP Nut.
4. Apply a light layer of paintball gun oil to the
oring now on the LP Nut, and screw just the LP Nut into the
Trilogy body.
5. Using either plumbers Teflon tape, or some other
thread sealant, seal the threads on your new LPR, and screw
it in to LP Nut until tight.
6. Reconnect the air hose to your new LPR.
7. Turn the adjusting knob on your new LPR outward
(counter-clockwise) in order to lower the pressure that will
be coming out of your new LPR.
8. Cock your marker, and air up the gun.
9. Pull the trigger. If you lowered your LPR enough
the gun should not fire correctly. IF you gun stills fires,
turn the adjusting knob outward more to reduce the pressure
coming out of the LPR. Once your gun is not re-cocking due
to a lack of pressure to recock the gun proceed to #10.
10. Continue to pull the trigger and slowly turn
the adjusting knob in (clockwise) until you can get the gun
to recock correctly.
***It is important that you pull the trigger continuously
as you are increasing the LPR pressure.
11. Once the gun just starts to recock, turn the
knob another 1/8th to 1/4th turn clockwise to finish adjusting
the LPR. This extra pressure will help ensure that your gun
always recocks correctly.

The objective is to use the least amount of air pressure to
recock the gun. However, you do need make sure you have enough
pressure to successfully re-cock the gun, hence the extra
little turn at the end. If the pressure is too low, the gun
will not recock, and you will break paint in the gun.
I hope this helped,
Todd
